The money and credit system of Ukraine is examined. Based on the analysis of indicators reflecting the dynamics of basic processes on the money market, the reasons for arising main problems connected with prices regulations in the economy have been revealed. A comparative analysis of inflation rate in Ukraine and developed countries allowed to reveal main disadvantages of the mechanism ruling in the money and credit system of Ukraine. Рассмотрена денежно-кредитная система Украины. На основе анализа показателей, отражающих динамику основных процессов на денежном рынке, выявлены причины основных проблем регулирования цен в экономике. Сравнительный анализ показателей уровня инфляции в Украине и развитых государствах позволил выявить основные недостатки действующего механизма денежно-кредитной системы Украины. Розглянуто грошово(кредитну систему України. На основі аналізу показників, які відображають динаміку головних процесів на грошовому ринку, виявлено причини основних проблем регулювання цін в економіці. Порівняльний аналіз показників рівня інфляції в Україні та розвинених державах дозволив висвітлити основні недоліки діючого механізму грошово-кредитної системи України. V.
