The factors of economic and social development are considered. A methodical approach is offered to determine the nature of factors, which have influence on it, using the system of estimated figures and facet classification. Highlighted are the most influential factors of positive and negative direction separately among groups of internal and external impact on the city of regional subordination. Рассмотрены факторы экономического и социального развития города. Предложен методический подход к определению характера влияния на него факторов по системе оценочных показателей с использованием фасетной классификации. Выделены наиболее влиятельные факторы положительной и отрицательной направленности отдельно по группам внешнего и внутреннего влияния на город областного подчинения. Розглянуто чинники економічного та соціального розвитку міста. Запропоновано методичний підхід до визначення характеру впливу на нього чинників за системою оціночних показників із використанням фасетної класифікації. Виділено найвпливовіші чинники за позитивним і негативним напрямом окремо серед груп зовнішнього і внутрішнього впливу на місто обласного підпорядкування. V.
