The experience of implementing the provisions of the Association Agreement between Ukraine and the EU has been researched. Positive and negative consequences of meeting the requirements of the Agreement have been identified, "weaknesses" are identified in the implementation of its economic part. The experience of European countries in the implementation of similar international agreements has been analyzed. The proposals on the development of legal means for the protection of the economic interests of Ukraine are substantiated. The article is based on the materials of the report of the Institute of Economic and Legal Researches of the NAS of Ukraine at the meeting of the Presidium of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine dated 11.10.2017.
