This article considers basic factors of changes in the economic complex of Donetsk region. The basic parameters of production function of the region are identified. The «bottlenecks» of the national and regional policy in regulation of structural changes are found, the conclusions are made that it is necessary to bring the structure of the region’s economy to the criteria of optimality. Рассмотрены основные факторы изменений в хозяйственном комплексе Донецкой области. Определены основные параметры производственной функции региона. Обнаружены «узкие места» национальной и региональной политики при регулировании структурных изменений, в связи с чем сделаны выводы о необходимости приведения структуры экономики региона к критериям оптимальности. Розглянуто основні чинники змін у господарському комплексі Донецької області. Визначено основні параметри виробничої функції регіону. Виявлено «вузькі місця» національної і регіональної політики при регулюванні структурних змін, у зв’язку з чим зроблено висновки щодо необхідності приведення структури економіки регіону до критеріїв оптимальності.
