The paper considers the factors of formation of enter­prises’ potential in the region and offers their classification. A close connection between the processes of social and eco­nomic development of the region and formation of its en­terprises’ potential is shown, on the basis of which their in­fluence on each other is studied and a methodical approach to its determining is offered. The algorithm and example of assessing the environmental impact on the formation of en­terprises’ potential of the territorial unit is presented. Рассмотрены факторы формирования потен­циала предприятий региона и предложена их классификация. Выделена тесная связь между процес­сами социального и экономического развития ре­гиона и формированием потенциала его предпри­ятий, на основе которого исследовано их взаимное влияние и предложен методический подход к его определению. Приведен алгоритм и пример оцен­ки влияния внешней среды на формирование потенциала предприятий территориальной единицы. Розглянуто чинники формування потенціа­лу підприємств регіону, запропоновано їх класи­фікацію. Виділено тісний зв’язок між процесами соціального й економічного розвитку регіону та формуванням потенціалу його підприємств, на основі якого досліджено їх взаємний вплив і запропоновано методичний підхід його визначення. Наведено алгоритм і приклад оцінки впливу зо­внішнього середовища на формування потенціалу підприємств територіальної одиниці. V.
