The article considers different methodological approaches to defining the essence of economic concentration. Positive and negative consequences of economic concentration have been analyzed. The proposals are given to improve the process of regulation of economic concentration.

Висвітлено різні методологічні підходи до визначення сутності економічної концентрації. Дано аналіз тенденції позитивних і негативних наслідків економічної концентрації. Подається оцінка регіональної економічної концентрації. Запропоновано пропозиції щодо удосконалення процесу регулювання економічної концентрації. V.
