Agafonenko, O.Yu. The article gives assessment to competitive positions of regions in Ukraine. Some competitive positions which characterize the competitiveness of Ukrainian regions by a number of indices have been analyzed. After analyzing the regional competitive positions, a general conclusion is made that introduction of available elements of productive forces has a contradictory character: separate factors are used more intensively on small-size territories; there is reverse dependence between separate indices related to use of the productive forces elements; lack of the necessary information in the statistical year-books doesn’t allow to get a more complete picture of regional competitive positions. Дана оценка конкурентных позиций регионов в Украине. Проанализированы некоторые конкурентные позиции, характеризующие конкурентоспособность регионов Украины по ряду показателей. Предложены обобщающие выводы о том, что результаты анализа региональных конкурентных позиций позволили определить, что вовлечение в процесс общественного производства имеющихся в наличии элементов производительных сил носит достаточно противоречивый характер: более интенсивно используются отдельные факторы на небольших по размерам территориях; между отдельными показателями использования элементов производительных сил существует обратная зависимость; отсутствие в статистических ежегодниках необходимой информации не позволяет получать более полную картину региональных конкурентных позиций. Наведено оцінку конкурентних позицій регіонів в Україні. Проаналізовані деякі конкурентні позиції, що характеризують конкурентоспроможність регіонів України за рядом показників. Запропоновано узагальнюючі висновки про те, що результати аналізу регіональних конкурентних позицій дозволили визначити, що залучення до процесу суспільного виробництва елементів продуктивних сил, що є в наявності, носить достатньо суперечливий характер: інтенсивніше використовуються окремі чинники на невеликих за розмірами територіях; між окремими показниками використання елементів продуктивних сил існує зворотна залежність; відсутність у статистичних щорічниках необхідної інформації не дозволяє отримувати повнішу картину регіональних конкурентних позицій.
