В статье предложена методика оценки уровня развития регионов Украины, которая предполагает нахождение интегрального индекса посредством агрегирования оценочных параметров региональных хозяйственных систем. Обоснована система оценочных критериев, определены методы расчета интегрального индекса, проведена оценка уровня развития регионов за период с 1998 по 2005 г. У статті запропоновано методику оцінки рівня розвитку регіонів України, яка передбачає визначення інтегрального індексу через агрегування оціночних параметрів регіональних господарських систем. Обґрунтовано систему оціночних критеріїв, визначено методи розрахунку. інтегрального індексу, проведено оцінку рівня розвитку регіонів за період з 1998 по 2005 р. V.
