Brief information is given for each object: the year of the garden' s foundation, the size, historical objects on the territory of the park (garden), the presence of old-age trees and some tree species is noted; inaccessible and / or rarely visited ancient gardens are described in more detail (Mughal Gardens in Delhi, Yadavindra Gardens in Pinjor and others). A full description of the ancient gardens (parks) of India is given in the publications of the authors, a list of which is given. Исследовано тридцать старинных садов Северной Индии: 9 дворцовых, 13 мемориальных (при усыпальницах), 8 садов «царского отдыха», и два старинных ботанических сада Западной Бенгалии (Восточной Индии) за 11 лет (с 2008 по 2019 годы). Дана краткая информация по каждому объекту: год закладки сада, размеры, исторические объекты на территории парка (сада), отмечено: наличие старовозрастных деревьев, упо- мянуты некоторые древесные породы; малодоступные и/или редко посещаемые старинные сады описаны более подробно (Могольские сады в Дели, Сады Ядавиндра в Пинджоре и др.). Полное описание старинных садов (парков) Индии дано в публикациях авторов, список которых приводится.
