As a result of the study it was determined that Orontium aquaticum L. under the conditions of the Right- Bank Forest-Steppe of Ukraine undergoes a full cycle of seasonal growth and development. The morphometric parameters of plants growing in well-lit areas practically do not differ from a natural ones. O. aquaticum reproduces both by seeds and vegetatively. Ten-year-old plants, up to 45 cm high, form about 85 green fruits from the pericarp with a diameter of 0.6 to 1.8 cm and a weight of 0.4 to 2.8 g. The seed productivity is 39.7%. According to the assessment, O. aquaticum belongs to promising and highly decorative species. В ході проведених досліджень було встановлено, що Orontium aquaticum L. в умовах Право- бережного Лісостепу України проходить повний цикл сезонного зростання і розвитку. Морфометричні параметри рослин, що зростають на добре освітлених ділянках, практично не відрізняються від природних. O. aquaticum розмножується як насінням так і вегетативно. Десятирічні рослини, висотою до 45 см, утворюють близько 85 зелених плодів з навколоплідником з діаметром від 0,6 до 1,8 см та вагою від 0,4 до 2,8 г. Коефіцієнт насіннєвої продуктивності становить 39,7%. Згідно проведеної оцінки, O. aquaticum належить до перспективних та висо- кодекоративних видів.
