Summary:Interaction of vinyl groups of 2-hydroxyethylmethacrylate with silicon-hydride groups attached to silica surface was studied. Reaction of catalytic solid-phase hydrosilylation was shown to take place. The possibility of hydrosilylation initiated by cobalt acrylamid complex has been established. The kinetics of catalytic and initiated hydrosilylation of 2‑hydroxyethylmethacrylate and effect of the component ratios and process conditions were investigated.
