Description
Summary:Structural, thermal and electrical characteristics of the polymeric composite materials based on polypropylene and polytetrafluoroethylene filled with highly dispersed silica and multiwalled carbon nanotubes, which were introduced into polymeric matrix by various methods, have been studied. Deviations in thermal conductivity coefficient in comparison with their additive values for the low-filled system (up to 1.5 wt %) were detected. These deviations correlate with the degree of the polymer crystallinity. Decrease in sizes of nanotubes aggregates in the polymeric matrix was found to permit one to reduction the percolation threshold and increase absorption of electromagnetic energy in the microwave range because of the interface increase
