Description
Summary:The sorptive properties of amorphous sphere-granulated phosphates and phosphate-silicates of titanium to uranium(VI) from acetate solutions have been studied. The uranium uptake was explored as a function of pH, nature of anions, and uranium concentrations under static conditions. Adsorption properties of complex ions were shown to depend on the state and hydrolysis degree of uranyl in solutions. A correlation was elucidated between magnitude of specific surface area, porosity, and sorption capacity of inorganic sorbents.
