Резюме:The article reviews the implementation of artificial intelligence in retail. The relevance of the application of data extraction, neurolinguistic programming, machine learning in retail trade has been established.The methods of system analysis and synthesis, comparison, summary and grouping have been applied. Theforeign experience in using artificial intelligence in retail networks has been analyzed. Introduction of an artificial intellect in the Ukrainian market has been investigated. The SWOT analysis of a grocery network "Si lpo" has been carried out. The strengths have been revealed: high brand awareness, a large number of retailoutlets, many years of experience in the market, a wide range of products offered, presence in every regionof the country, application of modern technologies, the clients’ database formation. The weaknesses havebeen detected: high-priced products in comparison to local grocery networks, a low level of labor automation,a large number of negative feedbacks online, staff turnover causes a consistently high percentage of incompetent staff. Possibilities have been noted: artificial intelligence implementation, network development in online space, access to foreign markets, increase of market share due to collaboration with innovative companies in various industries. Threats have been considered: instability in the economy, rise of tax burden, reduction in the level of income of the population, departure of working population abroad, the emergence ofworld grocery networks in Ukraine market, the appearance of online platforms in offline space. Proposals toimprove the application of artificial intelligence by domestic grocery network have been offered, namely: digital price tags, technology of “smart shelves”, shopping list function in the application, telegram channel forcustomer navigation in supermarkets and automated customer support service, CRM for customer behaviorprediction, customization of stocks and special offers, robot-merchandisers, digital panels, face recognitiontechnology, beacon for identification of smartphone ID.
