Comparative mass-spectrometric study on the interaction of linear and branched homologs of valerianic and pivalinic acids with silica surface

Резюме:Interaction of linear and branched molecules of valeric and pivalic acids with the surface of fumed silica has been studied by the temperature-programmed desorption mass spectrometry. Structure of adsorption complex, mechanisms of chemisorptions and destruction of chemisorpted acids have been proposed. Kinetic parameters of chemical transformation of investigated acid on the surface of fumed silica had been calculated.
