Its essence lies in the use of the 2-pK model for description of experimentally found dependence of difference in pH of aqueous suspensions and initial solutions on the pH of the initial solutions used for preparation of the suspensions. Besides the ionization constants of surface hydroxyl groups, this approach allows us to estimate their total concentration and parts of positively and negatively charged ones. |
