Zusammenfassung:In order to create nanocomposites based on polyurethanes, polyamides and other polar polymers, a method of modification of montmorillonite with urethane-containing modifier has been first developed. Modified montmorillonite obtained is designed to form nanostructured composites based on polymers with polar groups, in order to obtain polymer composites with high physical and mechanical properties. New modifier ensures the high affinity of the montmorillonite with polymer matrix due to formation of hydrogen bonds. The complete exfoliation of the montmorillonite in the polyurethane matrix and increase of the strength of the polymer nanocomposite compared to the polyurethane matrix by 40% at a relatively low concentration of montmorillonite (0.5%) have been shown.
