Food Industry Economics| Zusammenfassung: | The article is devoted to the assessment of the functioning of the market for poultry products inUkraine and the justification of strategic vectors for development. Poultry enterprises in Ukraine have acquired the status of one of the key elements of the national agrarian economy. It was identified that the u n stable state of socio-economic development of Ukraine, the low level of capital concentration in agriculture,the price disparity between poultry products and industry and its consequences caused significant problemsin the functioning of the poultry products market. There is a well-founded need to form a management system for the development of the market for poultry products. The necessity of improving the conceptual basisof the strategic management of the development of the poultry products market in terms of substantiating thetrajectory for the transition from a resource-based model of the industry to an innovation-oriented one hasbeen proven. It is necessary to use three approaches to the implementation of price support programs on themarket of poultry products from the point of view of demand and supply analysis (increasing farm prices; thegovernment increases farm prices; guaranteed price from the government). The key directions for improvingthe system of strategic management of the development of the poultry products market have been proposed:technical re-equipment of farms, transition to tools and technologies for automating of production processes;introduction of complex development of specialized main and auxiliary premises and buildings on the basisof fundamentally new planning decisions; gradual transition to innovative industrial technologies; formation ofa stable fodder base based on the widespread use of complete ration fodder mixtures; modernization of existing and development of new breeds of poultry; improving the level of qualification of personnel affectingthe level of labor productivity; stimulation of a high level of concentration in terms of means of production andlabor on the basis of deepening specialization, cooperation in the process of production of poultry products.The issue of integrating educational activities into production processes regarding available cost-effectivetechnologies that can be used to increase productivity and reduce the burden on farmers has been updated. |
