Food Industry Economics| Zusammenfassung: | Achieving of the significant results of each enterprise and business development as a whole are i nextricably linked to the work of the staff and their level of motivation. For a long time, enterprises in postSoviet countries paid more attention to material and financial values, without focusing on labor resources,their potential and individual needs. However, with the development of market relations, the attitude towardsthe employee changed radically: the importance of highly qualified personnel was realized, and the staff began to be considered as one of the most important values in the enterprise. In view of this, enterprises beganto pay more attention to the organization of work, to the formation of their motivational and social policies, toresearch the individual needs of personnel and to analyze the labor market. An effective motivational systemat the enterprise should create in the employee the feeling that in order to satisfy his needs, it is necessary tomake labor efforts, which will simultaneously ensure the achievement of the enterprise's goals. Thus, theability to correctly apply motivational mechanisms is reflected in the performance of personnel. Under thecrisis conditions, a certain level of motivation or, on the contrary, demotivation, can both save the businessand, accordingly, create additional problems in the work process. Today, in unstable times, it is desirable forevery manager to review motivational mechanisms, change management tools and conduct research on existing personnel needs. It is important not to forget that high levels of stress and anxiety have a negative impact on productivity and the desire to achieve results, so management should look for ways to overcome thenegative consequences of such conditions in the workplace. The article examines the main factors that influence the motives of employees' behavior during the period of martial law and the consequences of theCOVID-19 pandemic. Based on this, a list of motivational tools was developed that can improve the psychological climate in the team, reduce the level of stress and anxiety, provide employees with a sense of security, increase trust in management, and increase work capacity and productivity. |
