Summary:The hotel and restaurant industry is a sector characterized by high competition and focused on satisfying various consumer needs, providing a high level of comfort, and considering the diverse household, economic, and cultural requirements of guests. In this field, corporate culture plays an extremely important role and has a significant impact on the success of the enterprise. During the crisis, an effective corporate culture can help save businesses and create conditions for sustainable growth. This article presents the results of the research on the challenges of forming corporate culture in hotel and restaurant businesses and their impact on customer satisfaction. The authors have analyzed some external and internal factors that influence the formation of corporate culture, especially in the postpandemic and wartime periods, as well as the associated risks for businesses. The article also identifies the impact of corporate culture in hotel and restaurant businesses concerning the tasks of stimulating economic development. It has been argued that a positive dynamic in the development of corporate culture ensures the success of the enterprise, making it more competitive, customer-oriented, and effective in the service market. Additionally, management needs to define the values and mission of the company, continually improve training methods for personnel, search for and retain talented employees, create conditions for team cohesion, effectively adapt new workers to challenging working conditions, and much more. Based on this, a list of recommendations has been developed for managers of hotel and restaurant businesses to improve the level of corporate culture, productivity, psychological climate in the team, reduce stress levels and concern, provide a sense of security for employees, and increase trust in leadership.
