Zusammenfassung:Over the past decade, the cruise industry has become one of the fastest growing sectors of tourism, attracting more and more attention from passengers. Thanks to the comfort of the ships, the service of tourists, the provision of a variety of services related to leisure and the flexibility and availability of food choices, high standards of service and an individual approach to each tourist, cruise tourism opens up unforgettable opportunities for both travel and recreation. Cruise is currently one of the fastest growing sectors of the tourist services market, which is influenced by the constant improvement of the design of passenger ships, improvement of their comfort, development of new routes and improvement of service on board the liner. For Ukraine, cruise tourism is a new alternative to the tourism industry. Given the sea and river water area, the rich cultural heritage and the attractiveness of natural beauty, Ukraine has a high potential for the organization of industry, both for the domestic and foreign markets. However, the war, closure of ports, insufficient financing of the industry, suspend the development of this type of tourism and the modernization of the necessary infrastructure. Today, the global cruise tourism industry is recovering from the consequences of the COVID-19 pandemic, building strategies for further development in the face of significant losses. Global cruise passenger traffic has grown steadily for 10 consecutive years, but with the announcement of the pandemic, the number of passengers concerned about safety and health has more than halved. That is why companies restoring tourist services pay great attention to cooperation with port agencies for the purchase of products and the organization of infrastructure for high-quality passenger service. Identifying the main crises and analyzing the methods of their elimination is a primary task for the high-quality functioning of the cruise industry in post-Covid conditions.
