Protonation (lgKprot) and conjugation (lgKcon) constants of surface 3-aminopropyl groups were calculated using electrostatic model and that of chemical reaction. An increase has been found in lgKprot with surface amino group concentration in xerogels whereas no dependence of lgKcon on their concentration has been revealed. |
