Резюме:The comprehensive studies of the results of the activity of the dairy sector of animal husbandry and the milk processing industry have been carried out. Their condition and changes during the war period have been highlighted. The dynamics of the herd of cows, their productivity and milk production have been analyzed. The dairy industry suffers from a lack of raw materials, which, together with other challenges, slows down the activities of enterprises. The structure of the quality of milk received for processing from agricultural enterprises and households has been characterized. Ukrainian milk should approach European standards. The indicators of milk supply to processing enterprises, its sources and purchase prices from different categories of farms have been given. The information on the losses of enterprises due to a full-scale invasion has been summarized. The analysis of the dairy production indices has been carried out in comparison with the indicators of the industry as a whole and the production of food products, beverages and tobacco products. The main trends of import-export of dairy products have been determined, its indicators have been analyzed for individual products, in particular for cheeses of all kinds and butter. The rating of the main   importers and exporters has been compiled. The share of each of them in the excessive volume of exported and imported dairy products has been calculated. Predictive assumptions and proposals regarding the further development of the dairy market have been formed. In general, the specific problems of both dairy market participants - producers of dairy raw materials and their processors – have been revealed. It has been assumed that military aggression can deepen the crisis processes in the entire agro-industrial complex and in the dairy market in particular. The results of the investigations can be used in the creation of the program documents for the development of the Ukrainian dairy market during the war period.
