Food Industry Economics| Summary: | The article is devoted to the study of the resilience of the dairy sector as a critical factor in ensuring food security in Ukraine in the context of military operations and global challenges. The impact of the full-scale invasion of the Russian Federation on the agricultural sector, in particular on milk production and processing, has been revealed. The author emphasizes that the war has caused the destruction of farms, a reduction in the number of cattle, a decrease in the volume of dairy production and the complication of logistics processes. The main problems of the dairy industry have been analyzed, including the shortage of raw materials, energy risks, a decrease in investment attractiveness and personnel shortage. The article emphasizes the need to transform the dairy sector by modernizing production, introducing innovative technologies and automating processes. The author suggests strategic approaches to increasing resilience, including the creation of dairy clusters, the development of family farms, state support and integration into European markets. Important factors in ensuring resilience are the optimization of logistics chains, improving product quality and adapting to climate change. Particular attention has been paid to the role of state policy in supporting the dairy sector through incentives for producers, subsidies and investments in the restoration of production capacities. The author emphasizes the need to develop environmentally sustainable practices, implement digital technologies and strengthen control over dairy products. Increasing the level of sustainability is the key to maintaining food security, economic stability and competitiveness of dairy products in domestic and international markets. Prospects for further research in the direction of developing adaptive strategies and increasing the efficiency of dairy production in the face of global challenges have been identified. |
