Резюме:The purpose of the study is to develop circular mechanisms in the agro-industrial production system, which is gaining strategic importance in the context of increasing natural resource shortages, climate transformations, soil degradation and worsening imbalances in access to food. The predominance of traditional linear business models in the agro-industrial complex leads to excessive waste generation, depletion of the natural potential of agro-ecosystems and increased risks for food security both nationally and globally. The implementation of a circular model of agribusiness operation is focused on the transformation of production processes towards the formation of closed resource cycles, which ensures optimization of the use of materials and energy, reduces dependence on primary raw materials and contributes to reducing the environmental load. A special characteristic of the agricultural sector is the large volume of organic residues that can be converted into valuable secondary resources - biogas, organic fertilizers, protein feeds, biostimulants, etc. This allowed to form methodological foundations for the transition to a modern agri-food system based on the principles of sustainability and circular ecosystems, where the interrelationship between economic, environmental and social components provides a multiplicative effect of sustainable development. The article aims to examine the benefits and risks of forming a sustainable strategy thanks to modern technologies for the effective utilization of plant waste and by-products of the agricultural and agro-industrial sectors to extract valuable components (fiber, proteins, oil, cellulose fibers) and use them in the production of food, animal feed, cosmetics, fabrics, fertilizers and biofuels). It is important to develop closed-loop processes, apply standardization protocols and conduct life cycle assessment and economic analysis to facilitate large-scale implementation. The management of such ecosystems requires the integration of innovative processing technologies, digital solutions for monitoring resource flows, as well as public-private partnership mechanisms to create a circularity infrastructure in the agricultural sector. Ultimately, this allows agribusinesses not only to increase efficiency and profitability, but also to strengthen their role in ensuring environmental and food sustainability.
