Surface| Zusammenfassung: | The paper studies the effect of modification of the surface of amorphous nonporous high-disperse nano-sized silica (nanosilica) with aprotonic watersoluble polymers – polyvinylpyrrolidone (PVP, M » 12000) and polyethylene oxide (PEO, М = 20000) – on its ability of proteins adsorption – gelatine and bovine serum albumin (BSA). The presence of aprotonic watersoluble polymers (PVP, PEO) in a solution was found to diminish the value of adsorption of these proteins on silica surface both at stepwise and simultaneous adsorbate introduction into a suspension. It was established that PVP and PEO was able to displace previously adsorbed protein molecules from the surface layer. |
