Summary:The procedure of fabrication of nanosized magnetite particles by recrystallization of the precursor under hydrothermal conditions has been proposed. A correlation between the growth process parameters and the size, structural and magnetic properties of grown particles has been established. The regimes of nanomaterial fabrication under heat treatment and microwave heating were investigated. Phase composition and morphology of nanoparticles were studied by X-ray diffraction analysis, transmission electron mictroscopy, and atomic force microscopy.
