Description
Summary:It is developed a test on the biocompatibility of implant materials based on nanobiosensor technology used an atomic force microscope (AFM). The test is based on the determination of the detachment force of the microscope needle (cantilever) with immobilized immunoglobulin G from the contact surface of the implant. A comparison of the new test with the existing ones is carried out; it is shown the feasibility of using it to determine the compatibility of prostheses and implants in the preoperative period, as well as the possibility of selection of adequate medical support patient or adaptation of surface of preparation material to the human body. The new testing technique is not complicate and expensive, and the cost of its implementation do not practically affect on the total cost of operating procedures or prosthetic implantation. The test should be considered as an additional for use in surgical practice.
