Tooling materials science| Резюме: | The purpose of this study is to study the patterns of influence of physicochemical properties of the processed material and the dispersed system on the polishing performance of polymer optical materials. Based on the analysis of the polishing mechanism of non-metallic materials, it is shown that material removal and surface roughness formation is a consequence of sludge nanoparticle removal resulting from Ferster resonant energy transfer (FRET) between dispersed phase particles and treated surface in resonator processed material and grinding. The system "treated surface - dispersed system - grinding surface" is presented as a quantum generator of nanoparticles, the generation power of which depends on the quality factor of the resonator and determines the polishing properties. Studies have shown that when polishing the optical surfaces of polystyrene, polymethylmethacrylate and allyldiglycolcarbonate parts using dispersed micro- and nanopowder systems, polishing productivity decreases exponentially with frequency indicator of FRET efficiency and increases linearly with increasing increase of time indicator of FRET. It is shown that the roughness of polished surfaces deteriorates with frequency indicator. By reducing the time indicator efficiency of FRET, the roughness of the treated surfaces improves. It is established that the polishing productivity of polymer optical materials increases nonlinearly, and the roughness of polished surfaces deteriorates with increasing the quality factor of the resonator. The results of the study should be used in the development of chemical-mechanical polishing of non-metallic materials. |
