Tooling materials science| Zusammenfassung: | Two methods were used to calculate the pressure at room temperature in a cubic high-pressure apparatus with a working punch square side of 71 mm and a press load of 331.8 MN. The first method is to determine the pressure as the ratio of the force acting normally on the area of the cube and the deformed seal, the second method is to model the compression of a pyrophyllite cube taking into account the dependence of the volume compression coefficient on pressure. Close values were obtained - 4.69 GPa for the first and 4.35 GPa for the second calculation method. |
