Резюме:Phosphorylated derivatives of organic compounds are known to be capable of inhibiting the activities of enzymes and other proteins responsible for key metabolic pathways. In this connection, the calixarene phosphonic acids are of interest as macrocyclic agents interacting with targets that may be involved in pathological cellular processes. This review presents a literature survey on the synthesis and properties of calix[4]arene phosphonic acids as inhibitors of alkaline phosphatases, protein tyrosine phosphatases, Na,K-ATPase, nucleotide pyrophosphatase/phosphodiesterase 1, and some other enzymes and proteins. Brief information is also given about the inhibitory activity of calix[4]arene derivatives bearing alkyl phosphonate or phosphinic acid groups
