Визначено вплив рубок догляду різної інтенсивності на ріст і формування букових молодняків. Встановлено, що у віці освітлень інтенсивність рубки, залежно від густоти молодняків, може бути дуже сильною, сильною, помірною та слабкою, а у віці прочищень – переважно середньою. Наразі критерієм проведення рубок догляду є відносна повнота деревостану. Доцільно як такий критерій використовувати густоту насадження.
