| description | In Danilovskiy arboretum, which covers an area of 16 hectares, 222 species, 16 forms and 31 hybrid forms of trees and shrubs are accounted, which belong to 84 genera of 32 families. Arboretum is located in Pivdenne forestry of the State Enterprise “Kharkiv Forest Research Station” of Ukrainian Research Institute of Forestry & Forest Melioration named after G.M. Vysotsky (URIFFM). Inspection of stands have been carried out for altitude-ecological cultures of Picea pungens and Juniperus virginiana, research cultures of Quercus rubra, Quercus hartwissiana, Picea pungens, Picea engelmannii, ?bies concolor, Pinus ponderosa. The results of the research are presented. Conclusions about acclimatization of these species and feasibility of their applying for forestry and horticulture are made. |

На території Данилівського дендропарку, який займає площу 16 га, на час обстеження нараховувалося 222 види, 16 форм і 31 гібрид деревних і чагарникових рослин, які належать до 84 родів з 32 родин. Найбільш широко представлено родини Pіnus та Quercus. Так, родина Pіnus представлена 12 видами, 17 міжвидовими гібридами та багатьма формами. Родину Quercus представлено 12 видами та 5 міжвидовими гібридами. Дендропарк розташований у Південному лісництві державного підприємства «Харківська лісова науково-дослідна станція». Тут проведено обстеження висотно-екологічних культур ялини колючої та ялівцю віргінського, дослідних культур дуба північного, дуба Гартвіса, ялини колючої, ялини Енгельмана, ялиці одноколірної, сосни жовтої. Наведено результати досліджень. Зроблено висновки про акліматизацію цих видів та доцільність їхнього використання для лісового та садово-паркового господарства.
