Summary:In the article the scheme of a stage of biological wastewater treatment with the use of rotary-type apparatus as an aerator and mixer is proposed. Experimental data on the rate of oxygen dissolution in a rotary-type setup, the rate of wastewater treatment (in terms of biological oxygen demand), depending on the frequency of pulsations are presented. Comparative characteristics of purification of domestic wastewater from aerators of various designs are presented.
