Sigal, О.І. The article discusses approaches to the disposal of municipal solid waste in the world and the EU. It was determined that the priority for Ukraine is to use the energy potential of municipal solid waste for the production of thermal energy for the needs of the population, which will help to replace the appropriate amount of natural gas. There is a concept introduced to implement MSW at CHP in Ukrainian cities with different amount of population. В статье рассматриваются подходы к удалению муниципальных твердых бытовых отходов в мире и ЕС. Определено, что приоритетом для Украины является использование энергетического потенциала ТБО для производства тепловой энергии для нужд населения, что позволит заместить соответствующее количество природного газа. Предложена концепция похода к внедрению ТЕЦ на ТБО для городов Украины с различной численностью населения. У статті розглядаються підходи до видалення муніципальних твердих побутових відходів у світі та ЄС. Визначено, що пріоритетом для України є використання енергетичного потенціалу ТПВ для виробництва теплової енергії для потреб населення, що дозволить замістити відповідну кількість природного газу. Запропоновано концепцію підходу до впровадження ТЕЦ на ТПВ для міст України з різною чисельністю населення.
