Thermophysics and Thermal Power Engineering| Zusammenfassung: | The data of CFD analysis of the fields of dynamic and kinematic viscosity of supercritical water in round channels for different values of the heat flux q supplied to the wall are presented. Based on the results of solving a nonlinear problem of mixed convection (forced and natural) with an upward flow of water in vertical channels, its temperature fields are obtained, which determine the corresponding viscosity distributions. The features of the formation of temperature fields for different values of q in the initial section of the channel, where supercritical water is in a pseudo liquid state, are considered. The research data on the regularities of the effect of the supplied heat flux q on the spatial distributions of the dynamic viscosity μ of supercritical water are presented. In particular, it is shown that the decrease in the value of μ downstream is more significant at large values of q. It has been established that the kinematic viscosity of supercritical water is practically unchanged in the initial section of the pipe, the length of which is determined by the value of the supplied heat flux q It is also shown that the increase in the viscosity of supercritical water downstream outside the specified section is the more significant, the larger the value of q. |
