The role of science as an intellectual foundation for the socio-economic, political and military power of the state is emphasized. A list of fundamental and applied research and development in the field of communal energy, aimed at reliable energy supply of residential and public buildings, is provided. These studies formed a new scientific direction - fundamental thermophysical engineering. The state and trends of energy development in Europe and the world in the context of economic threats, price policy, resource base, energy conversion technologies and final low-carbon energy use are presented. |
