The collision probability of asteroids with the Earth is suggested to estimate with the help of Tourin’s scale. The methods of protection of the Earth from asteroids are considered and their efficiency is evaluated. The conclusion is drawn that the prospective method of protection from the large scale catastrophy is the radiolocation planetoid observation along with necessary development of the system of the Earth protection. |
