A new approach based on the recognition of three of states for three of neighboring amino acids is used that increases prediction accuracy in comparison with the recognition of the states of one and two amino acids. Обговорюються результати чисельних розрахунків передбачення вторинної структури білків на основі байєсівських процедур розпізнавання на нестаціонарних ланцюгах Маркова. Використовується новий прийом, заснований на розпізнаванні трійок станів для трійок сусідніх амінокислот, який покращив точність передбачення порівняно з розпізнаванням станів однієї та двох поточних амінокислот.
