The phenomenon of alternatives rank reversal is studied, appearing in rating calculation using Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) method. The sufficient condition is found for the rank reversal absence. The fulfilment of this condition is analysed for different alternatives weights calculation methods. It is shown that the sufficient condition for the alternatives ranks reversal absence is satisfied while using in advanced method AHP of non-normalized alternatives weights calculated by direct estimation method or «line». Вивчено феномен реверсу рангів альтернатив, що виникає  при використанні методу AHP для обчислення рейтингів. Знайдено достатню умову відсутності реверсу рангів. Проаналізовано виконання цієї умови для різних методів обчислення ваг альтернатив. Показано, що достатня умова відсутності реверсу рангів альтернатив виконується, якщо в удосконаленому методі AHP використовуються ненормалізовані ваги альтернатив, обчислені методами безпосереднього оцінювання, або «лінія».
