The Gaussian curves are constructed and the scattering of 40 melts average test results and the mechanical properties distribution of all the tests (120 cast and annealed samples, respectively) are analyzed. Prospective directions of technology improving for increasing of ductile cast iron mechanical properties are indicated. У статті наведено дані щодо розподілу механічних властивостей (тимчасового опору розриву, відносного подовження і ударної в'язкості) високоміцного чавуну з кулястим графітом, модифікованого у ковші комплексним модифікатором ЖКМК-4Р. Побудовано криві Гауса і проаналізовано розсіювання середніх для 40 плавок результатів випробувань і розподіл показників механічних властивостей усіх випробувань (по 120 литих і відпалених зразків, відповідно). Вказані перспективні напрями вдосконалення технології для підвищення механічних властивостей високоміцного чавуну.
