Mechanical properties are suggested to be checked during testing of cast V-shaped samples, and for non-destructive testing of the optimal combination of structural constituents of cast metal at isothermal quenching (austempering) it is proposed to use a sensor that signals a certain ratio of the paramagnetic and ferromagnetic phases in the cast metal. Описано два способи контролю якості чавуну з кулястим графітом у виливках. Механічні властивості запропоновано контролювати при випробуваннях литих V-подібних проб, а для неруйнівного контролю оптимального поєднання структурних складових металу виливків при ізотермічному їх загартуванню запропоновано використовувати датчик, що дає сигнал про досягнення певного співвідношення парамагнітної і феромагнітної фаз в металі виливка.
