Casting Processes| Zusammenfassung: | The results of the preparation and introduction into the melt of the hypereutectic silumin AlSi19Cu5Mg1 of the fine crystalline modifier prepared by spraying the CuP ligature with a lowtemperature plasma onto a copper substrate, and also modifying the melt with a molten ligature and introduced into the alloy in a plasma flow. The use of specially prepared ligatures results in a significant reduction in the size of the primary silicon crystals and the dendritic parameter of the metastable aluminum solid solution compared with the modification with the standard CuP master alloy according to conventional technology. |
