Casting Processes| Резюме: | Methods of intensification of heat exchange of the metallic casting in a mold with a friable filler for the acceleration of cooling of casting that could be applied to planning of rotor-conveyer complexes are considered in a review. They include the feeding of cooling agent in a mold, dynamic and aerodynamic moving of molding filler around casting. The examples of application of thesemethods to increase the local properties of cast iron cylinder block body are shown. Application of aerodynamic movement of molding material for aluminum castings has allowed to increase their mechanical properties in 1.3–1.6 times. |
