Casting Processes| Резюме: | Generalized information is presented regarding the Roadmaps for the development of the foundry industry of the USA, Canada, and Great Britain, as well as regarding the Roadmap for the development of the quantum industry in Europe. The American Metalcasting Consortium (AMC) led the development of the Metalcasting Industry Roadmap, which was released in 2016. The purpose of the latter was to identify prospective needs in research and development in the US foundry industry, which will ensure further growth of the industry. Solving the problems of the industry is planned in a time interval from three to ten years. As a result, a Roadmap was created, which consists of four thematic blocks: foundry processes, foundry materials, design and workforce. The Ministry of Industry Canada (Industry Canada), which already supported the Technology Roadmap (TRM) in other sectors of the country’s industry, identified the need to develop a Canadian TRM for the country’s foundry industry. As a result of a series of consultations in 1999...2000. with the involvement of foundries, scientists, suppliers, as well as buyers of castings, the Canadian Metalcasting Technology Roadmap was created, which was published in 2000. As a result, the following areas of analysis of the Canadian foundry industry are identified: industry structure and overview, governance, partnerships, e-commerce, marketing, productivity and government. As a result, eight main recommendations were developed for the future development of the foundry industry in Canada: from analyzing best practices to increasing the effectiveness of advertising. A key theme of the Roadmap to a Globally Competitive Net Zero UK Foundry is the decarbonisation of the foundry industry. It is noted that over the past 25 years, the UK economy has suffered losses as a result of the transfer of production to competitive economies around the world, and has also increased global carbon emissions. The Roadmap proposes to implement a number of measures: from reforming the domestic energy market to allocating land for foundry enterprises. It should be noted that the second quantum revolution is unfolding in the world. It is predicted that the latter will significantly affect both the world economy and the production of metal products. To ensure support for the accelerated growth of the quantum industry in Europe in 2024. the Strategic Industry Roadmap (SIR) was created. The latter describes the further development of Europe’s quantum industry for the period up to 2035. in the following five segments: Quantum Computing (QC), Quantum Simulation (Quantum Simulation), Quantum Communication (QComm), Quantum Sensing and Metrology (Quantum Sensing and Metrology), and Enabling Technologies ). |
