Досліджено структура, фазовий склад та механічні властивості покриттів з композиційного квазікристалічного сплаву Al-Fe-Cr, отриманих методом холодного газодинамічного напилення (ХГН) на сталеву підкладку. Показано ефективність методу ХГН з точки зору повного збереження частинок метастабільної квазікристалічної і-фази в алюмінієвій матриці, що забезпечує комбінацію високої міцності і достатній пластичності, необхідної для використання покриттів в інженерній практиці.
