Summary:UDK 669.716:621.36 The article presents the scheme and operation of the electrothermal installation, which provides for the supply of slag to the surface of the aluminum melt and its melting by an electric arc. The melting of aluminum slag is carried out in an electric arc chamber, in which the aluminum melt is sucked from the storage furnace, and the level of the melt in the electric arc chamber is raised to a given distance from the electrode. In the process of burning an electric arc, its length is regulated by changing the gas pressure in the electric arc chamber. The smelting of aluminum slag is carried out in the process of maintaining the circulation of molten metal between the electric arc chamber and the storage furnace. Melt circulation is maintained by an electrodynamic force generated by linear asynchronous stators mounted on pipelines connecting the crucible to the storage furnace. The electrothermal installation for processing of aluminum slag consists of the melting accumulative furnace and the electric arc vacuum chamber located above it with the established batcher of a slag mix. Between the melting storage furnace and the electric arc vacuum chamber are installed the first injection and second pumping pipelines, which together with the chamber and the furnace form a closed hydraulic circuit, in which the first pipeline is installed injection linear asynchronous stator from the longitudinal camera in the oven.High efficiency of aluminum recovery from slag, as well as high productivity of the processing process is achieved by maintaining the circulation of molten metal between the vacuum arc chamber and the storage furnace and in addition there is an additional effect of high temperatures in the arc combustion zone on slag.
