The development of national standards in a particular field, for example, in foundry, should be carried out constantly, taking into account the dynamics of science and technology, environmental requirements and safety, economic feasibility, and so on. The article provides a brief analysis of the state of standardization in the foundry of Ukraine and identifies further areas of work in this area, taking into account Ukraine‘s obligations to implement the regulatory framework of the European Union, eliminate contradictions with international and regional standards. The purpose of the introduction of new regulations is to reorient production to high quality products in the foundry industry. The Technical Committee for Standardization TC 177 «Foundry» studied the provisions of interstate regulations, regional and international standards on the basis of which there are developed the national standards relating to common terminology in foundry production, quality requirements for castings, as well asstandardization of tolerances, allowances for machining of castings. The main statments and novelties in the normative documents are outlined. It is noted that the systematization of national regulations will help to ensure the reliability of technological processes, improve the environmental situation, improve the quality and reduce material and energy consumption of domestic foundries. |
