Резюме:Received 27.04.2021 UDK 669.2/8.017: 537.3.39 The use of induction heating furnaces makes it possible to automate the melting processes, produce highly alloyed steels, and provide good working conditions for service personnel. In addition, environmental pollution is reduced as much as possible. Induction furnaces use a fundamentally different heating method for melting metals. Thanks to this, the melting technology has also improved, and the possibilities of remelting metals from scrap have expanded. The paper considers scientific methods for calculating the electromagnetic parameters of the ITP-4,5 induction crucible furnace for the smelting of 35CrMo alloy steel. The initial data were taken into account the properties of alloy steel; the size of the charge pieces; the initial charge temperature; the melting point and casting temperature; the specific electrical resistivity of the charge; the enthalpy, heat capacity and latent heat of melting of the alloy; the parameters of power sources, etc. The dependence of the generator frequency on the size of the lump charge for smelting 35CrMo alloy steel, as well as the dependence of the size of the lump charge loaded into the furnace for smelting steel, and the number of turns of the inductor on the frequency of the melting plant, is obtained. The dependences of the main electromagnetic parameters of the induction crucible furnace, such as the current level, the total power of the “inductor-metal” system and the current in the inductor on the frequency of the generator are determined. The equations of the dependences of the current level, the power of the “inductor-metal” system, and the current strength on the frequency are obtained by the method of approximation by a polynomial of the second and third degrees in the frequency range of the generator from 300 to 1000 Hz, with the model adequacy checked by the correlation coefficient. Moreover, the obtained dependences can be used as nomograms to determine the main electromagnetic parameters of the furnace, the parameters of the charge, the inductor and the frequency of the installation, which can be of practical importance in production to accelerate and improve the quality of the smelting process of the desired alloy.
