Species composition of tardigrades, their reproductive structure, quantitative development and ecological features have been studied. An overview of the existing classifications of the genus Batillipes based on morphological characters are given in the paper. При вивченні мейобентосу Двуякорної бухти (південно-східне узбережжя Криму, Чорне море) в липні 2011 р. в пробах, узятих на глибині 2 м, виявлені тихоходи Batillipes mirus, а також раніше невідомі для Чорного моря B. spinicauda і B. gilmartini. Дані морфологічний опис цих видів тихоходів, характеристика їх статевої структури, кількісний розвиток та екологічні особливості. Наведено огляд існуючих класифікацій видів роду Batillipes в залежності від морфологічних ознак.
